My first day of summer vacation!!! I must say it has been great. I woke up this morning around 7:30 and ate some cereal. I am loving cereal right now!! I then decided it was time to start working out.

I have been watching a baby story just about all day, and to say the least I am kind of freaked out!! One lady almost had the baby in car, one had facial paralysis and facial ticks, another developed pregnancy carpel tunnel, and then one had a water birth! Brian told me to stop watching, because he could tell I was getting nervous after all that. I have now decided that anyone that comes to the birthing should be relaxed and we are all getting epidurals or you may choose some other relaxing technique. I know what I am getting, so bring your on!!

On to a different note. I'm heading to Canton today, because I got a phone call from my mom telling me that my grandmother finally will be in a nursing home. It is bitter sweet! She will be in the best place, and we know that she will be taken care of. It is a very hard decision, but it is what she needed. She has alzheimers and it has progressed so much that my mother is constantly worrying about her. I think that this is the best thing for Gene Husen, but please keep my family in your prayers about this hard decision.

HORMONES!!! Wow. I think I had my first attack of mood swings yesterday! When I got home from school I was going to fix something to eat. I decided I wanted a Bologna sandwich. I opened the fridge....and there was only one piece of bread and two butts!! POOR BRIAN! I called him and asked why he didn't tell me about the bread..haha...he had no clue what I was talking about. Needless to say I was not happy. I got off the phone and made my sandwich with one end piece and one regular piece. About 10 minutes later, I was enjoying my sandwich and I thought it was the best thing ever! HAHA. Looking back I am in awe at my first mood swing. I laugh about it now, but I was not happy at that moment. Again...Poor Brian!

Here is a picture of Baby B. This is when I was 7 weeks so he or she is still very small. When we get another sonogram I will post the pictures.

Also, we have some walls going up!!

Here is Copper! We baby sat Rylee about two weeks ago and when we were packing her up we missed a pacifier. Look who found it!!!! Ha ha
I wish I could have gotten to my camera earlier because he was holding it perfectly in his mouth. It was the cutest thing!! I think he is saying...You don't need another baby...look I am your baby! How sweet!!!
Please pray for my friend Jessica Blocker. One of the twins has a double ear infection!

I will post later this this week, once I get back from Camden. I hope everyone is having a great week!

Today was not a good day! I have had a sinus headache all day! I started feeling bad last night, so I stayed the night in the "sick room" so Brian wouldn't catch anything. My head hurt so bad that it made me nauseated. So today I just stayed in bed watching movies in the "sick room". Brian was so good...anything I needed he would bring to me. I have a great husband!

This weekend we kept Anna Woods on Friday night. This is Brian's niece. She is 3 years old and as cute as she can be. This was the first toddler we have baby sat. We have been begging Melanie and Ed to let us keep her, and they finally let us (I think we were the last resort..haha) Anyway, she did so so so good. Here is a picture of Anna! Look at those sweet curls.
We took her to the duck pond to feed the ducks and we had so much fun. I remember when I was a little girl and Papa and Gene Husen would take me to feed the ducks in Greenville.

We have now baby sat a 6 month old and a 3 year old. I must say that it seems easier to keep the younger one. I think this is because of my worry with Copper. It is just eaiser with Reid and Rylee because at first he stiffs Reid and Rylee (don't worry you will learn more of them soon) and goes about his business. With Anna, he thought that she wanted to play the whole time because she would call him and giggle. She did very good with him, but he has some adjusting to do before Baby B gets here. He wasn't being rough or anything, he just wanted to play. I think once he gets neutered =( it will calm him down. Also, he will be with our child while he or she grows up, so I hoping that will help. We are crossing our fingers that it does!! If you have any suggestions or tips PLEASE let us know!
Here is Copper!!

I hope everyone has a GREAT Memorial Day!

Welcome!!!

WELCOME to the Blansett's Blog!
I have been meaning to do this for awhile now, but just haven't had time to start. Now that school is out it seemed like the perfect time to begin one.
Our life is about to change and I think that this is a great way for family and friends to stay in touch and something for me to look back on this exciting time! Let me go ahead and warn you....I'm an awful speller, but I will do my best!
As of right now I am 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I have had lots of night time sickness, but that seems to be passing. Why do they call it morning sickness? From what I have heard many experience it at night.
Along with being pregnant, I am about to finish my masters and we just started building a house. So to say the least it is busy around the Blansett house! The baby, as of now, is due December 1, but I think that he or she will be here sooner.
I haven't felt any movement yet, but I'm ready to feel Baby B so I know that I am not just gaining weight and there is an actual precious individual growing. Because right now.....I just feel awkard with the bump and weight gain.
That's all for now......check back soon.
